11/7/2023 0 Comments Filter forge 7The option to select presets by way of a comma-separated list pasted into the app somewhere on the Select Presets page. This one is for the original tool but could maybe apply to the new one as well. I've got another feature request I've been meaning to mention for a while now. Now I know that there is a modified version of my program, I will not take any risks to get the blame if anything strange happens to PC's or data of users of a version of my batchtool that is not made by me and thus withdraw my batch-tool-programs. If a program is hacked and recompiled or whatever the changes will not be recognised by any virus checker. If someone writes a program to erase a hard-disk and called it a batchtool, it would just do what it was meant to do (by the programmer), but it would never be recognised as a virus. So installing a program is always a matter of trust (and perhaps only using in a sandbox). If someone needed a FF8 version is was easier and safer to ask for it in this thread.Ī virus checker can never confirm that a program only does what it is meant to do, it only checks if the program has a virus. GMM thanks for warning me that someone (Tiny Toon) has hacked my program. I'd like to be able to batch through such filters whereas currently, I can still only use them manually.Īlso, it would be handy if you could add FF8 as a selectable version for the original tool so I don't have to keep copying stuff to the FF7 Library folder each time I add or change something When that is done the outputs differ much more greatly and the filter seems much more diverse. I have a few filters that rely on an input image to generate their content and while the various presets do change the output when using the same input it is far more effective to change the input for each preset. I suppose it could be made to focus more on the list of images rather than the presets and perhaps cycle through the presets if that list became exhausted before the list of images was exhausted. So, basically, this would step through the list of images and presets until it ran out of presets. In this scenario, the tool would assign a different selected preset to each image until it exhausted the list of selected presets. One filter, with N presets, and N input images. I would like to propose a 3rd scenario for the new tool, or perhaps it's better suited as a feature request for the original tool. You can download the zip-file from my dropbox: FF7BAT1 () Let me know if you find it usefull or if you encounter bugs Until then you may use my tool.Ī not-tested FF6 version is possible if really needed. I think a tool like this should be supplied by FilterForge, but it is on the whish-list for so many years now that I don't think they ever will give it the priority it needs. For small video's you can make an animated gif with this tool (not a very good compression though), for longer or "greater" video's you should use an other tool to render a video from the images. Render each image with a FilterForge filter in a way as described under N -> N. You can render video's to images (not with this tool). You can choose to start with the first preset and end with the second (linear) or let the tool generate random presets between the two predefined preset for each image. choose two presets and let the tool calculate all the values in between (every image an other preset). choose one preset and render all output images or N -> N: A directory with images with one filter and in case of a 3D filter choose the outputmaps optional set the number of presets that has to be calculated between those pre-defined presets choose one or more presets that are defined in filterforge There are two different ways to use this new tool:ġ -> N: One input image (or texture size) with one filter and It does not interfere with my other tool, so you can use both if you want. It has a lot less possibilities than my other (previous) batch tool, but this one is suitable for animation. This version is more suitable if you want to use only one filter. Hi, I am working on a new version of my (Windows only) batch tool for FilterForge. New Batchtool FFBAT (FilterForge Batch (Animation) Tool)
